Aavakaiku performs improvised jazz and ambient sound art at Bistro Vilja (Hatanpään valtatie 40, Tampere) on 28 August at 19:30.

The duo of Mari Martikainen (saxophones, effects) and Turkka Vuorinen (keyboards, electronics) brings material from their new Uumen EP, recorded live at JJ-studio in Tampere. Their set mixes expressive improvisation and cinematic textures to create one-off pieces shaped by the room and moment. Uumen is available on streaming services from 21.8.
