Anemones blend art-rock and 90s alternative influences, centring intense yet delicate vocals and dramatic dynamic shifts; their debut album When You Have Ghosts was released on 5 June via Blue Bear Records. Flying, formed in Kaleva, mixes relaxed rock, heavy pop and light psychedelia, delivering energetic quartet performances. Scales, a five-piece from Helsinki, lean on psych-flavoured indie that slips into punk, post-punk and alt-rock territory – a DIY-minded band that promises sweaty, high-energy sets.
