Impresiones Ibéricas Cello and Guitar Programme
Free cello-and-guitar recital of Spanish chamber music at Keskustori 4, Tampere on 19 September 2026 at 15:00.
Impresiones Ibéricas brings Spanish chamber music for cello and guitar to Keskustori 4, Tampere on 19 September 2026 at 3:00 pm. The concert runs for about an hour and is free to attend.
The programme presents works by Catalan-born late-Romantic composers Federico Mompou, Isaac Albéniz and Enrique Granados, with piano originals reinterpreted for cello and guitar. The pieces reflect a mix of Spanish character and wider European influences – from French impressionism to the grand pianism of the era – and the recital draws inspiration from the repertoire shaped by pianist Alicia de Larrocha. Organised by Santeri Rautiainen and Katariina Selenius.
