Jalmar Oktoberfest is a German-style evening at Kangasala-talo on Saturday 19 September 2026, starting at 18:00 and running until 22:00. The community event is organised by Kangasalan Suomi-Saksa yhdistys ry to mark the association's 40th anniversary and revive a local Oktoberfest tradition.

The programme features live swing from Swing Doctors Quartet Band and a generous Oktoberfest buffet with a sausage selection, ribs, spaetzle, pretzels, sauerkraut and salads. German beers and wines will be available for purchase. The evening is open to all; the price is 39 euros per person and includes the buffet, live music and programme.
