M.I. Laine opens the evening with lyrical, inventive singer-songwriter material that combines storytelling and sharp melodies. MäSä Duo blends old and new folk traditions with a bold South Ostrobothnian energy – Kyösti Järvelä's driving fiddle meets Lauri Kotamäki's rhythmic accordion. Juha Saunala appears for the first time as a trio, adding bass and vocals to the lineup alongside the "Viialan Veljekset": Eero "Eki" Tapio Häikiö on bass clarinet and Untamo "Unski" Armas Matinpoika Säynäjäkangas on percussion.
