Murtola, Widenius & Mugu Northern Flamenco Trio
A late-night flamenco concert by the Murtola, Widenius & Mugu trio at Galleria Himmelblau in Finlayson on 18 September 2026, starting at 22:00 as part of the Tampere Guitar Festival.
A flamenco trio concert by Murtola, Widenius & Mugu takes place at Galleria Himmelblau (Finlaysoninkuja 9, Tampere) on 18 September 2026, starting at 22:00 and running into the early hours. The performance is part of the Tampere Guitar Festival.
The programme mixes traditional flamenco colours with sounds drawn from northern folk and contemporary stage practice. The trio features Anna Murtola’s voice, Joonas Widenius’s guitar and Ingrid Mugu’s dance; their 2025 joint album informs much of the material. Also note a flamenco guitar workshop led by Joonas Widenius on Saturday 19 September – a 90-minute session that is free to attend (time to be announced); sign-up and tickets are available via the organiser’s link: https://www.lippu.fi/event/tango-guitar-flamenco-week-2026-galleria-himmelblau-21908176/
