Patrik Kleemola performs a programme of Spanish guitar classics at Tampereen konservatorio on 17 September 2026 at 7pm. The concert features period instruments, with Kleemola alternating between a Lacote 1839 and a Romanillos 1979 to recreate the sound world of 19th-century salons.
Kleemola, who appears internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, explores the history, tone and expressive possibilities of the classical guitar. His work bridges historical repertoire and contemporary commissions; his research into early 19th-century sources and particular interest in Fernando Sor shape this evening’s programme. Note: a free masterclass for classical guitar with Patrik Kleemola is scheduled for Friday 18 September at 4pm.
