Pekka Tapani with Slackbird and Armi Harmio

Three singer-songwriters – Pekka Tapani, Slackbird and Armi Harmio – perform at Kulttuurikeskus Maanalainen in Tampere on 16 October 2026. Doors open at 21:00 and scheduled sets run from 21:30 until around 01:00.

Pekka Tapani brings grooving folk-pop rooted in lyric and feeling, aiming to move both body and mind. Slackbird blends southern and northern influences, expanding its fusion-folk sound with touches of old schlager, New Orleans jazz and Balkan brass; the act performs solo here, layering multiple instruments live. Armi Harmio combines Finnish schlager tradition with experimental pop; the artist's second album Harmiolla explores themes from neurodiversity and loneliness to politics, love and mortality in energetic band arrangements.
