Puolustusvoimien varusmiessoittokunta MILLENNIUM 2000s Hits

Puolustusvoimien varusmiessoittokunta brings MILLENNIUM, a free concert of 2000s hits, to Tampere-talo on 22 August 2026 at 19:00. The performance is part of the band's MILLENNIUM tour and is scheduled to run about two hours.

The over-70-player ensemble combines wind band, strings and a showband to recreate the sound of early-2000s pop and dance music – Finnish chart acts alongside international hits that shaped school discos and early TV talent shows. Conductors for the evening are Sergeant Soila Takanen and Staff Sergeant Eero Rautasuo. Organizer: Puolustusvoimien varusmiessoittokunta; free admission with tickets available via lippu.fi and Ticketmaster.
