Tuomo Uusitalo Trio at Kangasala-talo

Tuomo Uusitalo Trio performs a jazz concert at Kangasala-talo in Kangasala on 6 February 2027 at 18:00.

The trio – pianist Tuomo Uusitalo, bassist Juuso Rinnan and drummer Roope Kantonen – combines original compositions and jazz standards in a modern piano-trio sound rooted in tradition. The group released its debut album on Fresh Sound in October 2023 and followed with Sörkka (All4Corners) in 2025; Uusitalo was awarded Pori Jazz Artist of the Year 2023 and Kantonen was named Jazzmuusikot's Musician of the Year 2022. The performance lasts about 1 hour 15 minutes with no intermission. Cloakroom service costs €2.50 (card only). There is a K18 licensed serving area in the upper seating (rows 8–11); the restaurant opens one hour before the concert and the Kimmo Pyykkö Art Museum is open until the performance begins.
