10–15-Year-Olds Invited to Be Junior Reporter and Drop Opening Puck at Tappara–HPK
Young Tampere residents aged 10–15 can apply to be a junior reporter at the Tappara–HPK match at Nokia Arena on 1 November; applications close at 23:00 on 20 October and require a one-minute video and parental consent.
Tampere youths aged 10–15 can apply to be Aamulehti’s junior reporter at the Tappara–HPK match at Nokia Arena on Sunday, November 1. Applications must be submitted by 23:00 on October 20 and include a one-minute introduction video and parental consent, Aamulehti says. The initiative follows Aamulehti's earlier junior reporter initiative that sent a 10-year-old Valma to report from Tammela Stadium.
The chosen junior reporter will work alongside an Aamulehti sports journalist, conduct short postgame interviews, produce content for the paper and even drop the opening puck at the family match. No experience is needed. The selection panel will look for enthusiasm, courage and natural camera presence.
Applicants should submit a video no longer than one minute (maximum 80 MB) explaining why they want the role and what questions they would ask Tappara players. The online form must include the participant’s name, birth year, hometown and phone number, plus a guardian’s name, phone number and email address.
