321,000 Finns Face Outstanding-Tax Deadline Today; Pirkanmaa Average €1,120

Today, 1 September, some 321,000 Finns must settle outstanding taxes for the July–September assessment period, Tamperelainen reports. Averages are highest in Åland at €2,253, while Pirkanmaa residents owe an average of €1,120, slightly less than Southwest Finland's €1,207. Outstanding taxes are amounts taxpayers still owe after the tax assessment. The September payment date affects hundreds of thousands of households across the country.
