Absoluuttinen Nollapiste and Atmos Brewing launch Renki Dry Lager in Tampere
Atmos Brewing and Tampere band Absoluuttinen Nollapiste have launched Renki Dry Lager, sold on tap and in cans with labels featuring short stories by frontman Tommi Liimatta; a tasting event this autumn will also preview the band’s Magneettipohjoinen album.
Renki Dry Lager is brewed with Magnum and Rhapsody hops and will be sold on tap and in cans, Tamperelainen reports. It appears in two label designs, each carrying a short story written by Tommi Liimatta. A coaster printed with a shared-decision text will accompany the release, aimed at well-stocked restaurants. Atmos and the band plan a tasting event later this autumn that will include a preview listen of the long-gestating Magneettipohjoinen album.
Renki refers to a bearded, fur-capped character that has appeared on Absoluuttinen Nollapiste’s album art, early tour shirts, posters and in Liimatta’s comics. The collaboration with a Tampere brewery reflects Liimatta’s longtime ties to the city, a period he has written about in his book Manse – Markka‑ajassa.
