Bus Line 26 Detours Through Epilä in West Tampere

"Nyssen's bus line 26 moves to Epilä via Rahola allotment garden due to road damage on Kaarilankatu," Aamulehti reports. The detour starts on Tuesday, March 10, bypassing Ranta-Kaarila by routing through Epilä. The detour runs along Nokiantien and Pispalan Highway, and nine stops between Kaarila and Haapalinna are skipped. Nyssen says the Kaarilankadun repair work will take about a week, and normal service will resume once the street is passable. The operator adds that no replacement service can be arranged via Ranta-Kaarila because there is no suitable turning area for buses. Nyssen also says that the detour schedules will be updated in the route planner as soon as possible.
