KalPa cuts Ilves' quarterfinal series to 2–1 with win in Kuopio
KalPa beat Ilves in Kuopio on Monday to cut the Liiga quarterfinal series to 2–1 ahead of a decisive Game 5 in Tampere.
Ilves reported that KalPa beat Ilves in Kuopio on Monday to cut the quarterfinal series to 2–1.
The quarterfinals now swing between Kuopio and Tampere. Ilves will host a fifth game on Wednesday, 8 April; tickets are already on sale.
Forward Ondrej Kos said the team is eager to “continue from where we left off in Kuopio.” The club announced an auction of the black game-worn jerseys opens Tuesday, 31 March.
On the junior front, Espoo levelled their U20 final series, while Ilves U20 won in overtime.
