Kasitonni Installs Baroque Cherubs and Shield at Tullikamari Square
A new sculpture titled Ars Post Hoc Quoque Invenietur – a shield flanked by two baroque-style cherubs – has been installed at Tullikamari Square beside the relocated Pakkahuone entrance.
The new work sits beside the newly relocated Pakkahuone entrance and will serve as a public art piece for the refurbished Tullikamari complex, Tamperelainen reports.
Titled Ars Post Hoc Quoque Invenietur, the sculpture places a shield between two baroque-style cherubs. The shield's symbols nod to the building's current uses, theatre, film and music, as well as to its commercial past. A smaller companion piece, Rhytmus Candelabri, is located in the lobby at the Klubi entrance.
