Komediateatteri will stage Ray Cooney’s classic farce Linjat kuumina (Caught in the Net) next summer, opening on June 10 on the theatre’s outdoor stage, Aamulehti reports.
Panu Raipia directs, with a translation by Mikko Viherjuuri. Lauri Ketonen plays a Tampere taxi driver leading a double life between Tesoma and Hervanta, and Janne Kataja is the meddling lodger whose arrival tangles the plot. Performances run through early August 2027 in the covered, roughly 700-seat summer theatre. The ensemble also includes Aimo Räsänen, Petra Karjalainen, Heidi Kiviharju, Idalilja Raipia and Eelis Kakkonen.
Kataja returns to Komediateatteri after appearing in the theatre’s record-breaking 2025 comedy Ilmasta rahaa, while Ketonen is known there from the musical comedy Titanique. The announcement follows its 35th-season programme unveiling last autumn.
