Manse PP bolsters women's Superpesis with three multi-year signings

Manse PP announced on Friday that it has signed Erica Rosendahl, Aino Tanhua and Venla Karttunen, Aamulehti reports.

Erica Rosendahl, 20, arrives from Helsinki Roihuttaret on a three-year contract as a pitcher. She will step into the role left vacant by Venla Tanhua, who retired this autumn.

Aino Tanhua, 24, joins from Rauman Fera on a two-year deal. She is expected to play in the outfield, usually at third base, and often batted second last season.

Venla Karttunen, 24, returns from her youth club Jyväskylän Kirittäret on a two-year contract. She can play as a first or second fielder and has mainly featured as a substitute on offence.

Manse PP enter the new season as the reigning Finnish championship silver medallists. Last year's finals went the full five games, with Seinäjoen Jussittaret clinching the title in the super inning after Manse reached the final with Lina Olenius's decisive home run.
