Nearly 22,000 people visited Hevoset-messut at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre over the weekend, with exhibitors reporting strong sales, high-quality customer contacts and an unusually active audience.
According to ePressi, nearly 22,000 people visited Hevoset-messut at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre over the weekend, bringing together hobbyists, professionals, competitors and industry followers.
The programme ran almost 100 events and exhibitors reported excellent sales, high-quality customer contacts and an unusually active audience. Highlights included an evening clinic by internationally respected coach Mary Wanless, an expanded Racing Arena that allowed live riding, and popular sessions such as Madis Morna’s show-jumping and Anna von Wendt’s dressage clinics. Wanless’s Saturday evening clinic alone drew nearly 500 spectators.
Hankkija partner Heikki Kankainen said visitors and exhibitors left satisfied, crediting the event’s long experience for its reliable delivery. Krafft’s marketing manager Sirkku Korkiamäki described a busy, productive weekend with strong interest in horse nutrition and wellbeing and many new customer leads.
Many participants praised the organisation and audience engagement. Rider and presenter Katariina Alongi said the new Racing Arena succeeded in attracting crowds and that schedules and technical arrangements let acts concentrate on performance. Attendee Rea Tulisalmi called the visitor experience relaxed and rewarding, with good fair deals and plenty to learn.
Project manager Mia Jurvala said the energy, full stands and positive exhibitor feedback confirmed Hevoset-messut’s commercial position in Finland’s horse sector and pointed to plans for an even more impactful event. The next Hevoset-messut is scheduled for 17–18 April 2027 at the same Tampere venue.
