The project is led by Eden-Asunnot, a joint venture between pension insurer Kevan and Taaleri-Kiinteistö, with Pohjola-Rakennus as the contractor. The building will offer a mix of studios, two-bedroom flats, and family units, all with balconies and some with views of Näsijärvi. Santalahti lies a couple of kilometres from Tampere's Central Square and is adjacent to the tram line and stop, a neighborhood popular with young adults.
