A Tampere student assembled a 7‑metre‑wide Disney jigsaw of 40,320 pieces; the completed puzzle will be on display at Ratina shopping centre from Sept. 19 while the creator seeks a permanent home for it.
A Tampere student completed a 7-metre-wide Disney jigsaw of 40,320 pieces and will put the giant work on display at Ratina shopping centre from September 19, Tamperelainen reports.
Completed in spring 2026 after four years of work, the puzzle was assembled by Tampere student Juulia. The exhibition's main purpose is to find a permanent new home for the piece where as many children as possible can enjoy it, with suggested venues including daycares, schools, children's homes and child care units. Groups or institutions interested in receiving the donation can find information at the show.
The exhibition opens Friday, September 19, from 12:00 to 21:00. From September 20 to 30 it will be open on weekdays and Saturdays from 07:00 to 21:00, and Sundays from 10:00 to 21:00. The final day is October 1, with doors open from 07:00 to 14:00.
