Tampereen Teatteri launches its autumn season on Wednesday 26 August at 12:00 with programme previews, excerpts from the new musical Singing Raindrops, interviews with production teams and tours of the renovated Café Elli.

According to ePressi, the theatre launches its autumn season on Wednesday 26 August at 12:00 on the Main Stage, presenting the full programme and preview scenes. Excerpts from the new musical Singing Raindrops will be performed, and production teams for the upcoming premieres will be on hand for interviews. The Main Stage presentation will last 45–60 minutes, followed by coffee and a chance to tour the newly renovated Café Elli.

The invitation, signed by theatre director Mikko Kanninen, was sent to newsletter subscribers and retired staff; attendees are asked to register by Monday 24 August so organisers can plan catering.

Scheduled premieres include Florian Zeller’s A Perfect Saturday (premiere 2 September, Frenckell Stage, directed by Marika Vapaavuori); Comden–Green–Freed’s Singing Raindrops (premiere 9 September, Main Stage, directed by Hilkka-Liisa Iivanainen); Petri Kotwica and Tuomas Timonen’s Black Ice (world premiere 14 October, Frenckell Stage, directed by Petri Kotwica); Alexandre Dumas and Antti Mikkola’s The Count of Monte Cristo (premiere 21 October, Main Stage, directed by Antti Mikkola); and Arttu Ratinen, Kaj Chedenius and Federico García Lorca’s Eternal Dream (world premiere 5 November, Foyer Stage).

The launch follows recent local theatre activity, including Tampere Theatre Summer at Laikunlava earlier season events and earlier visiting-production plans for the Frenckell Stage visiting shows at Frenckell. It also precedes Arttu Ratinen’s small-stage project announced for November Ratinen’s 60-seat show announcement.
