Tapola launches Ilves‑branded grill sausage in Tampere to mark the club’s 95th anniversary

Tampere meat producer Tapola has launched an Ilves‑branded grill sausage to mark Tampereen Ilves's 95th anniversary, with part of the proceeds directed to Ilves ry's youth activities, Aamulehti reports.

The anniversary sausage is a traditional grill variety; the club's green and yellow appear only on the packaging rather than in the product itself.

Tapola CEO Kristian Tapola said the choice of a classic, smooth‑textured sausage was deliberate: "it suits practically everyone in terms of flavour and its texture is smooth." He added the product was designed to work well at sports events and described the collaboration as "local collaboration at its best." He said redirecting some of the revenues to Ilves ry allows the companies to support youth activity in the club.
