UMK 2027: Nokia Arena final and dress rehearsal tickets go on sale Thursday

Tickets for the full UMK27 show and the afternoon dress rehearsal go on sale Thursday at 9:00, giving fans a chance to book seats for the Nokia Arena final on 20 February 2027. The Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2027 winner and Finland's Eurovision representative will be chosen at the Tampere venue that evening, Tamperelainen reports.

Seven acts will compete, supported by large-scale opening and interval numbers. There will be pre- and after-parties across three floors running until 2:30 AM, and an afternoon dress rehearsal whose results will feed the international juries. Nearly 500 song submissions were received this year, and Yle will unveil the artists on 13 January 2027, releasing the songs one per weekday from 14 to 22 January.

Yle's press release previews a diverse lineup. It promises an internationally styled band, a club-ready duo, a cinematic dramatic song, a broadly appealing pop artist, a dark modern guitar-driven track, a bold dance number showing a new side of an act, and a piece built around a Finnish zither melody that swells to epic proportions.

The event follows last year's UMK final in Tampere, which drew a local audience that chose their favourites.
