Children's music group Äxyt Zeeprat performs at Kangasala Main Library on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at 17:30. The short, 30-minute set takes place in the library's music department and is suitable for families with young children.
The band's songs are drawn from books that blend Teemu Palosaari's children's poems and Jukka Tilsa's comics. Their material features brisk metres and playful lyrics that shift from absurd nonsense to gentle life wisdom. Tilsa is an award-winning comics artist and member of the jazz group Jahnukaisten, while Palosaari is an award-winning children's poet and a producer-director for Yle children's programmes. The group has performed at events such as the Helsinki Comics Festival and Annikki Poetry Festival. Admission is free.
