Bulrusher and Vaalimaa at Maanalainen

Bulrusher and Vaalimaa headline a late-night punk and rock bill at Kulttuurikeskus Maanalainen on Friday 7 August 2026. Doors open at 21:00, the first act starts at 21:30 and the evening runs into the early hours.

Bulrusher is a new Tampere punk outfit playing its first gig; its members are known from Surut, Tryer and Kahtia. Vaalimaa are a three-piece delivering a raw, Eastern Finnish rock sound – dusty, sometimes gravelly rhythms with an unhurried pulse. Members Joonas, Lale and Santtu have played at venues such as Lebakko, Kaupungin Valot and NLK Oldbones. A third band will be announced later. Tickets 7 euros (includes cloakroom service).
