The French-American singer is known for inventive improvisation and scat singing and has been compared to Michael Jackson, Sarah Vaughan and Erykah Badu. She brings influences from her French-Dominican background, gypsy jazz, soul, pop and chanson, presented in big-band arrangements prepared for UMO by conductor Teemu Takasen. The concert lasts about two hours including an intermission. Student tickets require a valid student card or other proof; the ticket price includes a €3 cloakroom fee. Registered assistants enter free with the assisted person, and the venue offers wheelchair access and an accessible restroom.
