Eternal Erection play G Livelab Tampere on 30 October 2026; doors open at 19:00 and the show starts at 20:00, with the evening scheduled to finish at 23:00.
Formed in Helsinki in 1994, Eternal Erection are regarded as pioneers of Finnish funk and are known for energetic, interactive live performances. The band has released six studio albums, a live release, an EP and numerous singles; their most recent album, It's Easy, appeared in 2014. After a hiatus beginning in 2018 they returned to the live circuit in 2025 and have indicated new music is on the way. Their sound draws on black rhythm and blues traditions (Sly & Family Stone, George Clinton, James Brown, Prince) while borrowing elements of pop, rock, hip hop and jazz. The concert includes an intermission. Tickets include a €3 cloakroom fee; student tickets require a valid student card or other proof. Accessibility: an assistant may attend free with the ticketed person; the venue has wheelchair access and an accessible WC.
