Finlayson Soi Kaustinen Warm-Up Weekend

Finlayson Soi – Kaustinen warm-up fills Väinö Linnan aukio and the surrounding Finlayson area with music, singing and dance on 12–13 June 2026. The free festival opens on Friday at 15:00 (performances 15:30–20:00) and continues Saturday from 12:00 to 20:00 across ten stages.

Hundreds of folk musicians will perform simultaneously on indoor and outdoor stages clustered around the square, Työväenmuseo Werstas and nearby alleys, with a main stage at the festival centre. The programme includes workshops such as ensemble playing, throat singing and open jams; this year’s theme is the healing power of music. Organiser: Kulttuuritoimituksen tuotantopalvelut.
