Kimmo Pohjonen Hallowed Lungs at G Livelab

Kimmo Pohjonen presents Hallowed Lungs, a concert for accordion, organ and electronics at G Livelab Tampere on 23 September 2026. Doors open at 18:00 and the performance begins at 19:00.

The work stages bodily breath, electric current and the architecture of air in dialogue, juxtaposing the pipe organ’s sacred history with the accordion’s more earthly presence. The performance continues the Pohjonen & Helenius & Norvio collaboration that began with Ultra Organ in 2017. Performers are Kimmo Pohjonen (electroacoustic accordion, vocals), Mikko Helenius (organ, vocals) and Tuomas Norvio (sound design and live electronics). Tickets through Tiketti; price includes a €3 cloakroom fee. Accessibility: companion ticket free with the person assisted, wheelchair access and an accessible WC available.
