Maida Vale performs an acoustic-leaning concert at Tahmelan Huvila on 13 August 2026 at 18:00. The Tampere band plays a one-hour set in the villa; admission is free and the venue café will be open.
The group favours catchy choruses, swing and a rich musical palette, with lyrics that tell life-flavoured stories. Maida Vale began as a trio – voice, guitar and cello – and has grown to six members, now featuring saxophone and harmonica. The band has released four EPs and played well over a hundred gigs, from rock clubs and festivals to small private events, moving between tender moments and more rousing numbers on stage.
