Maija Vilkkumaa Karaoke-queen Album Launch

Maija Vilkkumaa plays a free, 18+ album-launch concert at Ikaalinen Spa's Kyrös Sali on 30 October 2026, 23:00–01:00. The show is part of her nationwide Karaoke-queen release tour.

The forthcoming ninth album Karaoke-queen arrives in autumn 2026 and, Vilkkumaa says, deals with themes of rage; she expects the club dates to be intense, raw and played with rock-band energy. The lead single 'Karaoke-queen' and the more recent 'Oo mun kaa' (released 15 May) precede the record. Vilkkumaa is one of Finland’s most awarded singer-songwriters, with eight studio albums and honours including five Emma awards, the Teosto Award, the Juha Vainio Prize and the Suomi Award; familiar hits include Satumaa-tango, Totuutta ja tehtävää, Ingalsin Laura, Ei and Viimeinen elämä.
