Masa Orpana Honk New Orleans R&B Night

Masa Orpana Honk performs a rhythm-and-blues concert at TTT-Klubi on 27 November 2026; the show starts at 21:30 and doors open at 21:00.

Led by saxophonist Masa Orpana, Honk relies on a strong saxophone section and a rhythm group inspired by New Orleans grooves. The band’s warm, gritty sound draws on New Orleans R&B and other blues styles, with a repertoire made up mainly of original compositions; guitarist-vocalist Johnny Gideon handles the sung numbers. Critics have singled out the album The Chase as one of 2023’s notable recordings.
