Pekka Kuusisto & Gabriel Kahane Council

Pekka Kuusisto and Gabriel Kahane present their joint project Council at G Livelab Tampere on 4 November 2026; doors at 18:00 and the show begins at 19:00. The performance combines songs and chamber pieces in an intimate club setting.

The programme draws on material written during retreats in Kesälahti and Portland, blending singer-songwriter storytelling with contemporary chamber textures. Expect violin, piano, guitars, harmonium, loops and electronic elements as the duo explores themes of personal and collective grief, nostalgia, youth, violence, revenge and the surprises of fatherhood. Tickets include a €3 cloakroom fee; student tickets require valid student ID. Assistant enters free with the accompanied patron; the venue offers wheelchair access and an accessible WC.
