TampereMissio House Kyttälä Village Party

TampereMissio opens its new house with a free Kyttälä Village Party at Kyttälänkatu 7 in Tampere on Wednesday 12 August 2026, running 11:00–21:00. The event marks the public inauguration of TampereMissio’s first headquarters and invites the whole city to join the celebrations.

The day features a packed programme for all ages: live sets from SuperSam (12:00), Tero Harjunniemi & Vesa Penttilä (13:00 and 17:00), High Society with Open Mic karaoke (15:00), Mikko Alatalo with a community singalong (16:00), Matti Johannes Koivu (18:00) and Muska Babitzin and The Hot Dogs (19:00). Alongside music there will be workshops, community art such as a graffiti wall painting, rooftop cocktails and views, a local history talk, yard games, a pin badge workshop, glitter painting and Polaroid photos, a soap-bubble disco, face painting, yoga and relaxation sessions, a poetry workshop, a Tampere quiz and a photo exhibition by Iltalinja. TampereMissio staff and volunteers will present their clubs, support services and activities throughout the day. The party is free and mostly accessible; note low thresholds at some fire doors, an elevator and LE toilet, and no dedicated parking.
