Tuure Kilpeläinen & Knucklebone Oscar Soul Special

Tuure Kilpeläinen & Knucklebone Oscar bring their Tough Ass Soul Brothers show to Tavara-asema in Tampere on 7 August 2026 at 19:00.

The duo present a Soul & Blues special backed by a stylish five-piece band: Janne Mathlin (drums), Risto Kumpulainen (organ) and Mikko Murtomaa (bass). Their set mixes swinging uptempo numbers and gritty slow soul, including a distorted version of “(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don’t Want to Be Right” that first linked the pair in 2024. The collaboration deepened last spring when they stepped in on replacement gigs for the late Eero Raittinen. Tuure sings and plays harmonica while Knucklebone Oscar handles vocals and guitar.
