Hello Health opens an AI-equipped studio on Tuomiokirkonkatu in Tampere on 28 August, offering 20-minute, AI-guided strength sessions where machines adjust resistance using a data-carrying wristband.

Tampere residents will be able to complete a 20-minute, AI-guided strength workout when Hello Health opens its new studio on Tuomiokirkonkatu on Friday, August 28. Tamperelainen reported the opening.

The studio uses AI-driven machines that recognise each customer. They automatically set resistance and sizing based on measurements and strength levels. Sessions last 20 minutes, and users move from machine to machine wearing a data-carrying wristband.

Founders Eleanoora Alalauri and Tuomas Korhonen say the concept is designed to remove barriers to regular training. "You don't have to think about how to do it, what to use, or how many times," Korhonen says.

The company opened its first location in Oulu in April 2026. It plans four more studios next year as it aims to grow into a national wellness chain using German equipment maker Egym's latest machines.

Hello Health is a family-run firm that grew from Sami Alalauri's traditional gym in Liminka. Automated sessions have appealed to both beginners and experienced exercisers.

The Tampere studio's interior will be light and non-traditional, with wall-to-wall carpet in parts and a separate relaxation room. It will open at Tuomiokirkonkatu 36 A on August 28.

The opening continues a local trend of new small, coached fitness spaces in Tampere, following Gogo's March pilates opening in Hervanta.
