Nearly 500 sign up for Tampere's AI entrepreneurship advisor

Almost 500 people have registered for the new digital entrepreneurship advisor on Yritys.tampere.fi. The AI-powered service helps residents across the Tampere region sketch business ideas, build business plans and assess profitability. It combines a curated expert knowledge base with artificial intelligence to deliver clear, up-to-date guidance in about 100 languages, responding in the user’s chosen language. Users sign in with Suomi.fi authentication and create a private profile. Conversations are saved, and users can book a follow-up appointment with Ensimetri’s business counselling experts for personalised help. Elina Wallin, service manager for Tampere city’s employment and growth services, says the platform lets founders progress at their own pace while learning digital tools. The city plans to add a profitability calculation feature soon to support startup planning. The uptake follows the platform’s launch on 1 April 2026 when Tampere introduced a 24/7 AI-backed entrepreneurship advisory service.
