Alko brings official Oktoberfest beers to stores on August 31
Alko will stock official Munich Oktoberfest beers and contemporary festbiers in its stores from 31 August, including brews from Hacker‑Pschorr, Hofbräu, Paulaner and Spaten and a 5‑litre Paulaner PartyKeg.
Tamperelainen reports that Alko will bring official Munich Oktoberfest beers and modern festbiers to its stores on 31 August. The lineup includes official festival brews from Hacker‑Pschorr, Hofbräu, Paulaner and Spaten, plus contemporary festbiers such as the award‑winning Wildbräu Grandauer Festbier and a 5-litre Paulaner PartyKeg aimed at gatherings. Alko's product manager for brewery products, Timo Vallo, said in a press release that while Oktoberfest-style beers are now brewed around the world, only six Munich breweries are permitted to produce the authentic Munich Oktoberfest beer – and Alko will stock four of those traditional festival brews. The product launch follows Alko's expansion of Sunday openings in the Tampere region.
