Anja Niskanen has released a new single, 'Kruunaa klaavaa', and will perform it at Tampere Hall on Friday 16 October, according to Tamperelainen.
She first broke through as a teenager, winning the Syksyn Sävel song contest in 1984 at 16 with 'Ollaan hiljaa vain'.
The track is Latin-influenced. It was composed, written and arranged by production duo Sara Suvela and Pauliina Kauppila. They play all the instruments on the recording and sing the backing harmonies.
Niskanen is currently on the Five Star tour with Marion Rung, Meiju Suvas, Virve Rosti, Ami Aspelund and conductor Esa Nieminen. The Tampere Hall date is part of that run.
