Noora Louhimo to release Halloween single "Voodoo Woman" and launch Inner Goddess 2027 tour

According to a press release from ePressi, Noora Louhimo will release a new solo single, "Voodoo Woman," on Wednesday 28 October. The track is the lead single from her second solo album, due in spring 2027, and it will kick off the Inner Goddess spring tour, which begins in Helsinki on 11 March 2027.

The music video is scheduled for release on Friday 30 October, and tickets go on sale the same day via Louhimo’s website. Louhimo wrote and produced the single with her solo band's guitarist Samuli Erkkilä.

Musically, the song blends blues and upbeat pop and draws on Michael Jackson among Louhimo's influences. She said the song had been dormant for years before she and Erkkilä reworked it. "I wanted to combine blues and driving pop, taking musical influences from Michael Jackson," she added, saying the track suits her taste for Halloween and horror-film themes.

The lyrics explore pathological possessiveness, narcissism and coercive control, wrapped in a nightclub-set narrative about a Voodoo woman who changes the night's plans.

Best known internationally as a heavy and rock vocalist, Louhimo has been building her solo profile in recent years. She won the latest season of the television show Tähdet, tähdet and is set to appear as a featured soloist on Elämäni biisi in autumn 2026.

The Inner Goddess tour includes a Tampere date at Tavara-asema on 18 March 2027, along with a long list of Finnish venues. Organizers said additional dates may be added later.
