Goaltender Mantas Armalis stopped all 16 shots to record a shutout as Ilves beat Jokerit 3–0 in Helsinki on October 10, 2026. Topias Hynninen, Tony Sundin and Luke Henman scored for the visitors.

Around 2,000 travelling Ilves supporters lifted the team in a crowd of 11,163. Hynninen opened the scoring at 19:44, finishing off a move set up by Aleks Haatanen with Jan‑Mikael Järvinen credited with the assist. Sundin doubled the lead early in the third period at 45:12, and Henman wrapped up the win with an empty-net goal at 59:15.

Armalis notched his fourth shutout of the Liiga season with 16 saves; Jokerit goalkeeper Tomi Karhunen made 20 saves. The result continues Ilves’s strong early-season form, which includes a 6–0 win over KooKoo in late September. The victory was Ilves’s ninth of the campaign, moving the club to 26 points and keeping them atop the standings.
