Ilves says it has rescheduled two October Liiga matches: the TPS away game moves from 13 October to 20 October, and the home match against Jukurit is moved to Saturday 24 October at Nokia Arena.

Ilves says it has moved two Liiga matches this month. The TPS away game, originally set for 13 October, will now be played on Tuesday 20 October at 18:30, while the home fixture against Jukurit shifts from that same Tuesday kick-off to Saturday 24 October at Nokia Arena with a 17:00 start. All tickets bought for the original Tuesday match, including Ilves's €10 'Ten‑Tuesdays' promotional tickets, remain valid for the new Saturday game.

Fans seeking exchanges or refunds should contact Lippupiste by phone at 010 633 1078 on weekdays between 10:00 and 16:00, by email at [email protected], or via the ticket returns page at web.lippu.fi/palautus.

Liiga confirmed six match postponements in total, five linked to Champions Hockey League scheduling. The league says its expanded 2026–27 structure, with 17 teams and a 64-game regular season, required more matchdays and led to negotiations with the CHL over reserved dates. Jussi Markkanen, Liiga's sporting director, said the CHL insisted on keeping its matchdays and apologized for the short notice. "It must be said openly and directly that, as the person responsible for the schedule, I should have ensured this better," Markkanen admitted, and the league accepted responsibility for the disruption.

The postponements stem from Liiga's move to a 17-team, 64-game format announced earlier when the league unveiled the new schedule and intersect with Ilves's €10 'Ten‑Tuesdays' promotion launched with season ticket sales when the club opened ticket sales.
