EuroSafety in Tampere draws over 11,000 visitors and record exhibitor turnout

Attendance topped 11,000 at the EuroSafety, Logistics and Food Industry trade fair held at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre on 8–10 September 2026, the organiser Tampereen Messut Oy said. The fairs had been previewed as a three-event series focusing on NATO procurement, logistics tech and food exports ahead of the September shows.

The fair featured a record number of exhibitors and a more international line-up than in previous years, bringing together professionals from occupational safety, workplace wellbeing, logistics and the food industry. Speakers at the co-located food and logistics fairs warned boosting Finland’s food exports will require stronger logistics capacity and wider adoption of automation as earlier reported. The programme focused on future-facing topics including new partnerships, export promotion, safety technologies and logistical solutions.

Toyota Material Handling Oy, the logistics fair’s main partner, said the visitor profile pointed to growing commercial momentum. CEO Jukka Heinonen called the fair a "positive experience" for the company’s stand, noting a high share of procurement decision-makers and contacts with entirely new customers. Conversations are expected to continue, and the company said the final commercial impact should become clearer by the end of the year.

Würth Oy’s sector manager Tuomas Syyrakki called the event very successful and said visitor numbers were spread evenly across the three days. "We met a large number of professionals and many discussions focused on solving practical safety challenges and building a better future," he said, adding that EuroSafety offered concrete solutions for everyday occupational safety and personal protective equipment needs.

Bookings for the next edition, scheduled for 19–21 September 2028, opened quickly as companies looked to secure exhibitor space. Tampereen Messut described the fair as a place for face-to-face meetings that can produce tangible business results.
