September 2026 Tampere Fairs to Spotlight NATO Procurement, Logistics Tech and Food Exports
Three linked industry events – EuroSafety, Logistics Expo and Food Industry – will be held at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre in September, offering journalist briefings on workplace safety, NATO procurement and food export growth.
Three linked industry events, EuroSafety (8–10 September 2026), Logistics Expo (9–10 September) and Food Industry (9–10 September), will take place at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre, offering sessions for journalists on workplace safety, NATO procurement and food export growth. Tampere Trade Fairs announced the line-up and dates in a press release.
Logistics Expo has been expanded to cover the full logistics value chain, from warehousing and intralogistics to ports, road and air freight. A new Future Logistics area will showcase technology and strategic solutions, and a seminar on accessing NATO procurement markets is scheduled for 9 September. There will also be an English-language presentation by Konecranes on connecting material flows using simulation, AI and robotics.
Food Industry, running under its new name, will host the first Food Export Day focused on competitiveness and internationalisation. The export programme ties into a 2024–2027 growth project that aims to help companies double food exports by 2031, led by food-sector organisations with primary funding from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Sessions will cover the practical impact of the EU deforestation regulation and examples of real-time production control using IoT and data.
EuroSafety is shifting its emphasis toward workplace wellbeing alongside traditional occupational safety topics. Highlights include a 10 September session on exoskeleton use in industry and a talk on resilience and decision-making under pressure on 8 September. Briefs on battery safety and lithium fire exposure risk are also on the agenda. Media will have access to experts, company case studies and product demonstrations; journalists are asked to accredit in advance.
All three events are co-located at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre to allow single-visit coverage of multiple themes, practical demonstrations and interview opportunities. EuroSafety runs 8–10 September 2026, while Logistics Expo and Food Industry run 9–10 September 2026. Journalists should register and request briefings early. The events follow earlier trade fair activity in Tampere, notably the return of the Konepaja and allied exhibitions in March which brought machine‑workshop and metal industry delegates.
