Ilves has named the coaching and leadership teams for its junior squads for the 2026–27 season and issued a run of year-end updates. "I've enjoyed every second," forward Matias Mäntykivi said. Those updates include a mutual termination with goalkeeper Roope Taponen, the club’s participation in aid work in Nikopol and a decisive bronze match in Lappeenranta on Walpurgis Eve — where SaiPa proved stronger and closed Ilves’s season. Coaches moving into new roles and players leaving the roster were thanked, and supporters were reminded that the Raipe Fund’s new golf collection can be ordered until 18 May 2026. Ilves also confirmed its ongoing involvement with FinAid ry’s relief efforts in Ukraine.
