Janni Hussi to Co-Drive for Jaspar Vaher at Rally 1000 Miglia
Janni Hussi will co-drive for 19-year-old Jaspar Vaher at next week’s Rally 1000 Miglia, marking her first partnership with a foreign driver.
The pairing marks Hussi's first partnership with a foreign driver; they will make their debut together at next week's Rally 1000 Miglia. Toyota Gazoo Racing said the 19-year-old Vaher, a member of the WRC Challenge Program, and Hussi will debut as a crew at the event. Vaher has had a strong season. He won the Finnish Championship rally in Jyväskylä in June and took his first Rally2-class stage victory at the Estonian round of the World Rally Championship in July. Toyota pointed to Hussi's experience in WRC2 and international competition, her testing and development work, and her ability to work with Estonian-language pace notes, saying she will provide continuity during Vaher's transition. Earlier this season she co-drove for Teemu Suninen in Rally2; Suninen thanked her for their time together on Friday.
