HIFK forward Jori Lehterä will miss Saturday’s Liiga game against Lukko; HIFK have reshuffled their lines and several other Liiga teams made roster changes ahead of the weekend.

Star forward Jori Lehterä will miss HIFK's Saturday Liiga match against Lukko, Tamperelainen reports. The club travels to Lukko with Iiro Pakarinen moved to second centre, Daniel Mäkiaho and Niko Huuhtanen on the wings, Jesper Ahlroth making his first appearance in defence and Tim Juelin in goal.

Pakarinen, usually a winger, will anchor the second line while Ahlroth provides a new option on the blue line. Several other Liiga clubs have adjusted their rosters ahead of the weekend.

TPS will replace Eetu Mäkiniemi with Markus Ruusu in goal for the trip to HPK, where Kim Saarinen takes over starting duties. Jokerit signed Tomi Karhunen to a four-game deal and plans to start him, leaving Veini Vehviläinen and the injured Olle Eriksson Ek out of the lineup. Tappara get a boost as Swedish forward Michael Lindqvist returns to the squad.

Other notable moves include KooKoo and SaiPa expected to start Eetu Randelin and Kari Piiroinen respectively. Pelicans have dropped Michal Jordan with Onni Käyhkö stepping up. JYP will be without Juuso Puustinen while Oskari Setänen returns in goal. Sport lose Philip Granath and have reshuffled their second line. Ässät have benched captain Peter Tiivola, promoting Otso Ylitalo and giving Axel Skinnari his first appearance. Kiekko-Espoo will start Sami Rajaniemi in goal.
