Jyrki Seppä to lead Ilves Edustus Oy, retains Ilves Stadion chair
Jyrki Seppä has been named chair of Ilves Edustus Oy and will remain chair of Ilves Stadion Oy; he also leads Ilves-Hockey Oy and was appointed chair of Jääkiekon SM-liiga Oy in 2024.
Jyrki Seppä has been named chair of Ilves Edustus Oy and will remain chair of Ilves Stadion Oy, Tamperelainen reports. He has chaired Ilves Stadion Oy since 2023 and led the Ilves-Hockey Oy board since 2017. In 2024 he was appointed chair of Jääkiekon SM-liiga Oy.
The Ilves Edustus Oy board includes Risto Jalo, Katri Mattsson, Mikael Mäkinen and Kari Pansio. Juha Koskimäki joins as a new member, and Ville Vine will serve as an external adviser on financial matters.
Ilves Stadion Oy's board comprises Seppä, Taija Holm, Risto Jalo and Katri Mattsson. Both companies are part of the Ilves-Hockey Oy group.
The appointment follows the recent resignation of longtime Ilves chair Petri Ojala and comes amid other recent leadership changes at the club, including an announced new CEO appointment earlier this year.
