Lehtipiste Releases 2025 Sustainability Report
Lehtipiste Group released its 2025 Year-End and Sustainability Report, showing a 7% reduction in total CO2 and an 8% drop in transport emissions despite a 0.4% increase in driving kilometres.
Lehtipiste Group announced that its 2025 Year-End and Sustainability Report highlights a 7% reduction in total CO2 emissions and an 8% drop in transport emissions, despite a 0.4% increase in driving kilometres, driven by renewable and low-emission fuels and the use of electric delivery vehicles in city logistics.
Key figures for 2025 include revenue of €99.3 million (up from €98.7 million in 2024), a tax footprint of €12.1 million, and a CO2 intensity of 91.7 tCO2e per €1 million of revenue. The Pakettipiste automated points network grew to 853 machines (up 14%), and the group employed 193 full-time equivalents. Employee engagement, measured as eNPS, stood at 20 (down from 24 in 2024). Donations to nonprofit organizations totaled €311,548.
The release highlights further reductions in emissions achieved through logistics optimization and energy efficiency: transport emissions fell 8% through closer collaboration with transport partners and greater use of renewable fuels and electric vehicles; warehousing consolidation cut heating energy emissions by 16%; waste paper reduction lowered waste management emissions by 61%. Electric distribution continued in Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Joensuu and Jyväskylä. The group also advanced product data readiness in compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), and its Goodwill Christmas Card Campaign delivered 35,000 cards to care homes and hospitals nationwide, with the Putinki program continuing to support charities, contributing €311,548. Lehtipiste’s double materiality analysis underpins the sustainability program, and the Strategy Period 2024–2027 emphasizes authentic care for outcomes, growth, and the environment, along with bold renewal in a safe operating environment.
Lehtipiste Group stated that the 2025 results show that reducing emissions in logistics yields significant reductions, and that the greatest impact comes from the value chain, notably procurement and transportation. The group will continue its efforts to lower emissions year by year while investing in staff well-being and customer experience.
The CEO Janne Mansukoski commented that the 2025 results demonstrate meaningful progress by addressing logistics emissions, with the largest impact in the value chain. He reiterated the plan to persist in emission reductions while prioritizing employee well-being and customer experience.
